Cooked Shrimp, Tail-Off

Cooked tail-off is the second most common form of cooked shrimp sold in the United States. It is also referred to as ‘shrimp meat’, by the acronym ‘CPND'.

Cooked tail-off is also offered as a broken shrimp.


The product form consists of a shrimp with all shell segments and the tail section removed. During the processing, the large intestine is also removed.
